Volunteer with us
We're often on the lookout for enthusiastic volunteers to help out on our events. We manage many food related events throughout the year and are always looking for people to work with on a more regular basis. Volunteering with us may well lead to more responsibility and possibly a paid role in the future.
Love chocolate? Love festivals? How about chocolate festivals? Thought you might. Read on…
CASUS events are looking for four enthusiastic volunteers to help out at Taste Chocolate festival on the Harbourside this Easter. The event will showcase bespoke chocolatiers from the region, as well as hosting celebrity chefs in the cookery theatre. If you are interested in the foodie scene in Bristol, and want to meet the people that make the city such a food destination, get involved!
What will we need help with?
We are looking for four volunteers to help assist with public questions; manage queues; serve as a point of contact for exhibitors; assist at the box office; monitor cleanliness; and help to manage the car park. You’ll be given a radio to get in contact with other staff and will be looked after by a volunteer co-ordinator, who will brief you on your roles before the event and be a point of call throughout. You will be asked to work on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th of March for a maximum of eight hours, surrounded by chocolate.
What can we offer you?
This is an opportunity to get involved with one of Bristol’s tastiest food festivals. You will be fed by some of the finest street food vendors in the region; we’ve also got unlimited tea, coffee, and homemade biscuits to fuel you. On your breaks, you’ll be able to go to the cookery theatre, watching presentations by famous chefs. As we have got a lot of new events on our plate recently, we are on the lookout for people to work with on a more regular basis. If food festivals are your thing, then this volunteering role may well lead on to more responsibility – and money – in the future.
